Cell-ID’s governance ensures efficient implementation of the program. It is focused on scientific objectives and their structuring impact on the French scientific community, with the principles of responsiveness, rapid decision-making, transparency and accountability. It is composed with the support of several independent scientific councils:

• Representatives of the institutions and universities involved.
• Steering committee, composed of the program director and the heads of the targeted projects.
• International Scientific Advisory Board, chaired by Professor Wendy Bickmore, Director of the MRC Human Genetics Unit at the University of Edinburgh.
